#1 History

A business specialised in interior designs since 1989, Postforming plans, manufactures and lays out spaces for Industry, services and retail outlets.

Emmanuel Brigand, the industry's passionate leader, has never stopped preserving, improving and developing the family know-how.

The story began in 1933 with his grandfather and the purchase of a woodwork factory which has been passed down through three generations by men's eager for work and captivated by their trade.

The story of Postforming itself began in 1989 with 2 employees; today it has nearly fifty employees and provides work for a total of one hundred people including its many partners.

The company now owns four workshops (industrial layout, Corian® transformation, metalwork / metal machining and the traditional Brigand carpentry), a design department, a purchasing department, an administrative department and a project management centre. The whole organisation is located on the same site for more fluidity and efficiency.

Initially based in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire with a 2,000m2 workshop, the company moved in 2008 to the actuel premises in Fondettes: 6,800m2 dedicated to creativity, projects development and the manufacture of new products and furnitures, whether it's custom production or mass production.

Both unique and global, our know-how has constantly adapted and strengthened (respecting delivery times and budget increasingly tighter, development of a technique for incorporating printed visuals directly onto the laminate, setting an environmental approach etc.).

Customers' needs have led the company to gain multiple skills, human and technical resources to respond as quickly and as precisely as possible to their many demands (evolution of the machinery, reinforcement of the design office for project creation and development).

A daily challenge that inspires and motivates all of the teams.

Mostly established in France and in Europe, this know-how has been exported internationally since several years now, with many projects across the Atlantic and on the African continent.

New contacts, new requirements and working methods, a perpetual adaptation allows us to respond better to the demands and constraints related to this type of projects(set up of a long-range logistic, choice of materials adapted to different climates, multilingual exchanges, different units of measurement, etc.).
